LOOOOOONG Post!

Well, we have been super busy the last couple of weeks, and my blogging has been lacking because of it.  So, here is a nutshell recap of what we've been up to, prepare yourself for a lot of pictures!

Last Sunday, Dan had the incredible opportunity to baptize one of the guys he'd been mentoring/discipling for the last few years.  This is Matt.  Matt has come so far since we first met him a few years ago.  Praise Jesus for his life!

On Tuesday, Greyson had his 4 month appointment.  WOW!  I can't believe we are at 4 1/2 months already!  Dr. Ciminello said he looks awesome.  He weighs 17 lbs, 6 oz (down to 90th percentile) and is 25 1/2 inches long (75th percentile).  He also said Greyson has two teeth about to break through and that we can begin feeding him solid foods now.  Fun!  Sooo....here are Greyson's two "big boy" events of Wednesday...

The stroller!  (I know, you thought you were going to see eating pictures, but the stroller happened first, be patient!)  We decided to enjoy the amazing weather with a walk Wednesday afternoon, and Greyson rode like a big boy!

Ok, here are the photos of his first run with cereal.  He did awesome, and chowed it down like a pro.  Did we expect anything less?  He LOVES cereal!

Ok, Thursday morning, Amy and Chris got here for Thanksgiving.  It was so great to have them here, and I know Greyson loved seeing them!  Here are some pictures of the meal...

Dan & Amy making mashed potatoes...

Daddy & Greyson playing games...

The feast...

This is Friday morning, Greyson eating breakfast with Amy...

And last, but not least, we went out last night with our small group to ZooLights at the Phx Zoo.  Apparently it was opening night, so it was packed, but we still had a lot of fun enjoying the lights.  Greyson loved the part where a bunch of trees were lit up and the lights flashed in time with music.  He was mesmerized.  :)

Phew!  Hopefully I will be better at blogging this week!   Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

  1. So fun! I love all the pictures of him eating. What a big boy! Sorry we missed Zoo Lights with you all. Our second Thanksgiving with Greg's family went later than I originally thought. :( I wish I could have seen Greyson enjoying the lights though. And I wish I could have seen you. :)
